Nelson Mandela rightly said, "Education is the most important weapon to change the world." Education plays an important role in the development of an individual and making him a knowledgeable citizen. It is the education that makes an individual self-reliant, provides knowledge, skill, technique, information and enables people to know their rights and duties towards their family, society and the nation. In this light an educational institution plays a major role. It imparts knowledge and helps shaping the career of its students. The more successful students are in their career the better the growth opportunities and a great future which in turns proves out to be useful for the society, country they are residing in one way or other.

Government Post Graduate College, Fatehabad, was established in the year 2004. This college is affiliated by Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra.The objective of establishing this college is not only to provide formal education to the students but also to make them useful citizens by inculcating discipline, self-confidence, humility and virtues in them. The college is committed to awakening the self confidence of the teacher-students and making them first self-reliant and then the best citizens for the society and the nation. The objective of the college is to make the students capable of attaining high positions in every field of life. The objective of our college is to develop in the students a balanced personality, intellectual outlook, self-control, dedication to duty, national vision, efficiency and desire to serve the nation.
