 National Service Scheme 

A unit of one hundred volunteers/volunteers is running in the college under the direction

of the Program Officer of the National Service Scheme.

Under which it is mandatory for every volunteer to do 120 hours of service. In this,

students participate in one-day and seven-day camps and complete works of national importance.

 Rovers/Rangers

Rovers Crew and Rangers Team are approved by the Bharat Scouts and Guides Organization in 

the college. Under this, students are registered and after registration,

 they are given training by the qualified trainers of the District Scout Guides Organization. 

Skilled and qualified Rovers/Rangers undergo various training and receive 

national and international awards.

Career Counseling and Employment Cell

 In this era of competition, this cell provides latest employment related information to the students

 to remain aware about their career.

College Magazine 

The college publishes an annual magazine “Parakhi”. In which the self-written writings of the college

 family and students are printed and published

 through articles, lectures and photographs of all the extra-curricular activities of the college.

Departmental Councils and Functions

For the intellectual and educational development of the students in the college, councils are formed 

every year in all the subjects through which various competitions 

like debate, essay, chart etc. are organized among the students from time to time. The students 

who get places in various activities conducted in the college are rewarded

 in the annual prize distribution ceremony and the student with the highest marks in each faculty is 

also rewarded. In each department, the student who has the highest 

attendance in the class is also rewarded.

Sports and Games 

Sports have a special role in the physical fitness and personality development of youth. Along with

 this, sports related activities provide a right direction to the energetic 

youth and inculcate a sense of discipline in them. Keeping these points in mind and for the overall 

development of the college students, all sports

 related facilities are available in the college. A huge playground is also available. A dedicated sports

 in-charge is working in the college to promote sports among the students. 

Library, Reading Room, E-learning Park, Pre-loaded Tablet

A library is available in the college in which books are issued to the students regularly. Besides, 

there is also a reading room in which newspapers/magazines are issued regularly to keep the 

students informed about the political, economic, technological, social, educational and cultural 

changes taking place at the regional, national and global level. Students have to deposit the issued 

books in the library within the prescribed days, otherwise a penalty is payable at the rate of per day 

per book. Books are issued from the Book Bank to poor students for the entire session. But it is 

mandatory to return the books before the annual examination. There are many computers and print

er facilities in the e-learning park of the college. There are also nine pre-loaded tablets in which 

e-content related to all subjects is loaded, which students can read by getting it issued in their 

name.
